Peacewares™ continues the call for the awareness that was fostered
by our iconic 01.20.09® website. as an artist I have approached this call for awareness in the manner that I know best, visually.
It is my hope that the products that we create
on t shirts buttons, decals and bumper stickers not only be a wake up call, but a call to action. we must continue to let our voices and thoughts be heard now!
Find a group that you are passionate about and support it. get involved at a local level in your community and state.
I remember as a young man walking past a button store on McDougal street in NYC, there was a strange button in the window - it was a peace sign. That symbol inspired a generation and created a movement with the courage to bring a terrible war to an end. it's not about the button. it's about the people that choose to wear one, and it's about knowing where people stand.... be a part of the change.
